Steps for Requesting
and Reviewing an FWA


Employee - Propose an FWA


1. Complete Proposal Form, give to manager.
2. Meet with manager to discuss proposal.
3. Modify it after discussion, if necessary.
4. Submit final draft to manager.
5. If approved, develop implementation plan.
6. If denied, discuss why with manager.
7. Forward a final proposal copy to HR.
8. Monitor payroll, benefits changes for new FWA.

Manager - Review a Proposal

1. Prepare for a review session.
2. Meet with employee to discuss proposal.
3. Evaluate proposal's overall impact.
4. Accept or decline the proposal
5. Inform employee as soon as possible
6. If accepted, implement with employee
7. If denied, explain business rationale
8. Update payroll, benefits data
