Approach

These guidelines introduce you to Our Company's FWAs and provide the information you'll need to establish arrangements that will work for both the employee and the business. These new arrangements are consistent with Our Company's Core Values.

Flexible Work Arrangements (FWAs) are not new at Our Company. We have offered them for many years.  We are expanding their use because we feel that well-designed and well-managed FWAs support our business goals and provide advantages to Our Company while at the same time providing advantages to our employees.

Please take a look at these important aspects of our approach to flexibility:

A note about language:
The person responsible for managing an employee on an FWA is sometimes a direct supervisor, sometimes a manager. For the sake of simplicity, these guidelines do not differentiate between the two.  The term “manager” is used throughout to refer to the person to whom an employee on an FWA reports.
